Innovation is no longer an option and is now indispensable for the future of the Aragonese element food companies. However, the fragmentation of the sector, composed mainly of SMEs and micro collaborative forms necessary to promote innovation in the entire value chain. In this line, the Food Cluster Aragonés is currently working with 8 SMEs Aragon in several innovation projects which are being carried out collaboratively among several companies that have an aggregate of 1,400,000 € budget.

Constant vigilance on market trends and new scientific advances made by the Aragonese Cluster Food, along with the knowledge that the specific needs of each partner company, allows you to translate all this information into a concrete proposal for innnovación for each of ellasy discern possible alliances. This has allowed to undertake larger projects, the kind that are currently running, which could not be carried out by a single company. It has also allowed to access public funding in these projects amounted to 850,000 €.
