Project description and objectives:
The Food Immersive Platform Project will investigate the development of an immersive virtual reality collaborative platform, which promotes two key elements for the economic recovery of the agri-food business fabric: internationalization and open innovation in terms of sustainability (climate neutrality, energy efficiency and sustainable use of the resources).
Likewise, the platform will include the consumer since, now more than ever, they are hyperconnected and informed and are demanding of the agri-food industry. A Collaborative Immersive Platform (Food Immersive Platform) will be researched, developed and validated, which allows companies from the agri-food clusters of Aragon and Navarra to keep connected with the market, both at the level of development of new innovative products and their commercialization.
The project is included within the framework of aid for AEIS Innovative Business Associations 2021. The consortium is led by the Aragonese Food Cluster (ARAGON INNOVALIMEN) with the participation of the Navarra Agrifood Cluster (NAGRIFOOD), from the LARGE agrifood sector companies VINOS SA, JOSE SALCEDO SORIA S.L., JAMONES SIERRA PALOMERA S.L., INDUSTRIAS CÁRNICAS SANTA ELENA S.L and the technology company TYRIS SOFTWARE S.L.
The Clusters participating in the project will disseminate the technology and the results obtained to their associates with similar problems.
