Development and validation of a functional drink for the control of blood pressure

Aragonese Food Cluster, Great Wines and Vineyards, Eurecat

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES.
Based on studies previously carried out by the Cluster, where hydrolysates from by-products of the wine industry were identified, and various food matrices were established for their inclusion, it is intended to develop a functional drink with said ingredient that maintains the antihypertensive properties studied.

RESULTS OBTAINED.
The functional drink is still in the development process. Mechanisms for obtaining the functional ingredient at an industrial level have already been established.
